What to expect…

Healing varies but normal to experience the following:

Day 1;   procedure day, may experience redness, soreness, tenderness (only rinse brows once at bedtime with cold running water, no soap, pat dry)

Day 2;   next day brow will appear darker and thicker (start using blue oil blotting sheets to manage excess oil)

Day 3;   brow start feeling dry or tight (start ointment once daily at bedtime, cream goes on white and drys clear if stays white use less)

Day 5-7;   brow start to scab, be gentle

Day 7-10;   scab start to crack, do not pull off

Day 10-14;   scab fall off in small pieces

After 10-14 days; can start to wash brows once ALL scabs have fallen off,  brow color will appear lighter, can use makeup on brows

Before 6-8 weeks;   brow color will darken again, ok to wax brows

*Diabetic, autoimmune or immunosuppressed clients may take double time to heal. For example, brows may not start to scab until Day 10 – 14, and the scabs may not finish falling off until Day 20 – 30. Be extra gentle and patient as your body is slower to heal “wounds”.

A aftercare bag will be given to you with everything you will need to properly care for your brows.
